Dislikes: Immaturity, stupidity, discrimination/intolerance/close-mindedness...Wait, those three are all inter-related, aren't they?
Other: Err....Hi~ *wave wave* You won't see much art from me, I am busy and have no talent. However, I will be ferreting out as many entertaining artists here on Sheezy as possible.
Well...Damn...There goes my favorites. I guess I better go through and save my favorites to my harddrive before Sunday.
It's not that I really mind the no porn thing. I mean, I remember looking for yaoi referance art here and thinking to myself "Wow, virgins really shouldn't draw porn". However the fact is that I am a dirty old man and the majority of my watch list are adult art artists.
I hear people bitching and whining "Oh! Thanks Sheezy for being such a bitch, just like dA!! *finger, spit in face, shits on desk, grumbles more, leaves*" It really isn't that much of a surprise, it would have happened eventually. I skipped directly over dA because I wanted an art COMMUNITY, which I found here on Sheezy. Most unfortunately for me a great number of the people in my chosen community are now leaving because of this smutt ban. I wish it were so that I could just stay in touch through email and instant messnager, however I have not been around long enough to become close enough to any of the people here where that would feel appropriate (not that I would turn it down if someone said "Hey~ You can messange me!")
I guess it all has to do with expansion, just like with what was my highschool and is now 's highschool. When I went there it was fantastic, my largest class consisted of maybe 19 people. Everything was a community, you knew everyone, it was comfortable and enjoyable. Now that Aya goes there things have gotten rather crappy. Her largest class was something like 41 kids this year, not to mention they have been letting in far too many kids that are...how shall I say...lacking in the appropriate number of braincells that used to make having such a small community enjoyable.
Things are easier when you're smaller, when everyone is enjoying themselves. However, people eventually notice that you're enjoying yourselves, and they would like to enjoy themselves as well. Being the happy group that you are you let them in, why deny people that just want to be a member of the community? But then it is more and more and more people, until you know hardly anyone and the safe, secure sense of community is gone, lost in the faceless masses.
I hate to be depressing, but I have actually been thinking about the school a lot lately and now this with Sheezy. I have to find a way to continue to stalk my watchlist...Hopefully we can all find another community to reunite in some time in the future.
